Mary Purdy Photography's 2021 Cake Smash Promo List is now live. Once a theme is booked it is no longer available at a discounted price. The purpose of this list is so I can extend my love for design to themes I have not done before. Please keep that in mind when booking. You'll need to trust my creativity completely. However I am 100% a open book and I am always excited to know what your thoughts are regarding a certain theme. If the theme you want is not on my list, not to worry my signature setups are always available at full price. I have payment plan options as well which can be way easier on your pocket. I require a retainer to be paid at booking. This is to secure your spot. I will not be guaranteeing a theme to anyone who has not paid a retainer. I request that you book your little ones cake smash about a month or more in advance. Ordering a backdrop, making or ordering props, outfits, and the cake can take weeks and I want to make sure I have everything in time for your little smashers session. Purdy's Rainbows

I will be selecting the Rainbow baby for July, Friday June 4th. The winner will be selected by random and I will contact them by email. I will give them 24 hours to reply. After that I will select a new winner. If you or someone you know is expecting or already had their rainbow baby please apply below. Everleigh

The classic floral décor made for such a classic setup. This little princess was so much fun. She really got into her cake. To say she smashed it would be an understatement. I love when smash sessions go like this. The larger the mess the better. Happy one year beautiful Everleigh, I hope its a fantastic year.

The first pooh set up I have done. I loved creating this. It was themed but also not over the top themed. This little guy was so handsome and although he was not digging the situation in the beginning I was still able to get very adorable images. I hope your birthday is wonderful Joel.

Say Hello to the April Rainbow baby winner. This sweet girl is so much sunshine after a rainy day. Her parents had many struggles before this beautiful girl was born. She is perfection. She was not a huge fan of the session at first but once I got out the cake she was all giggles and smiles. I hope you have a wonderful 1st Birthday perfect little rainbow girl.

The Mary Purdy Photography's Rainbow baby Project is now live on my website. Every month (within the first week) for the month ahead I will select a rainbow baby, by using a random name selector. These will be given to families who are due with or have given birth to a baby after a miscarriage, still birth, infant loss, or child loss. Cherry Blossom's

The fact that my daughters (mainly my older girls) LOVE to model for me makes my heart sing. This time of the year we are normally very busy with their competitive cheer so aside from client sessions I really do not get to take pictures of my own children. Well we ha a little break in our schedule this passed weekend so after hearing them tell me they wanted to do Cherry Blossom pictures over and over. We did it!! These beauty’s ran and played, they had blast. I wanted to share just one image of many. The love my three daughters share for each other is unbreakable. Look at two of my sweet girls.

Alistair

What a sweet handsome little guy. Alistair was mostly work and very little play haha. But we had some great moments with him during his cake smash. I’m so glad his mama put so much trust into me to create something she would love. I know one things for sure, even though we don’t have a gallery filled with smiles. This little guy is so cute in all his images anyway. Happy soon to be Birthday Alistair, I hope celebrating your first trip around the sun is out of this world.

I can not believe that since I started my photography journey I have NEVER booked a twin cake smash until now. I had so much fun designing this set up. It was a set fit for not one but two little king's.

Gorman

What a beautiful family and a fun trio of siblings. I met the Gorman family a little while ago, before little miss Madison wad born. I have been lucky enough to see these adorable kids grow. It's such a wonderful thing when you can experience that as a photographer. Happy Easter Gorman's and I hope your spring has been awesome so far.

Ventus

This little guy is unpredictable when it comes to photo sessions and he absolutely has a mind of his own. Does what he wants haha. But the more I photograph him the more his parents and I learn new ways to help him feel more at home during his sessions. These Spring Shoppe images turned out so awesome. Happy Easter to Ventus and his family. See you guys again soon.

Brock

I had this handsome guy in the studio a couple weeks ago. He did a great job and was the perfect little model. He was on the go but with his mama’s help I was still able to get some amazing shots of him. Happy Easter sweet boy.

Purdy's Rainbow's

For almost a year now I have been thinking of away to use my passion of photography to add some love back into the world. I wanted to create something that would open peoples minds to the fact that as a photographer I am human too. Life is not always rainbows and butterflies and I also have my share of struggles. With that being said this is where The Mary Purdy Photography’s Rainbow Baby Project comes into play. After a long debate I decided to name it “Purdy’s Rainbow’s”! All three of my beautiful, perfect, daughters are rainbow babies. This is something I hold very close and dear to my heart. Not a day goes by that I do not wonder how life would be with those children my husband and I have lost. But having these wonderful girls here with us is the most amazing feeling in the world. Words can not explain the joy these little ladies bring to us everyday. I want to be given the chance to add more joy into someone’s life who has struggled like we have. These sessions will be given to families who are pregnant with or have given birth after a miscarriage, still birth, infant loss, or child loss. I know from experience I can not fix the hurt but I hope that I can add a little more color into someone’s storm.

Charlie

With out further ado here is a glimpse of the very first Rainbow baby session for my project. Meet Charlie, I do not know the complete story behind how this sweet boy came to be but I can tell you from experience working with him that he is wonderful. A true blessing. These images are proof of how happy and fun this adorable boy is. He was the absolute perfect model to kick off this project and I’m happy his mom contacted me when she did. This smash is one for the books, that’s for sure. Charlie had fun from the start. He giggles, he laughed, he threw confetti, and he ate cake. He managed to splash all the water out of the tub but that’s ok, because he had so much fun doing it. Happy two years young Charlie, I hope your second birthday is as wonderful as you.

Miles

This guy was such a joy to have in my studio. He was full of personality and as you can see from the pictures he loved his cake. I was so excited to shoot this set up because it is so classic and not over the top. Leaving all the attention on the sweet model. Happy Birthday Miles I hope it is a fantastic day.

Reagan

This beautiful girl came into my studio to model a simple but still very beautiful set so she could celebrate her 1st birthday. She was on the go that’s for sure and we basically went to the beat of her drum lol. I love how beautiful this simple set turned out. Happy Birthday Reagan! I hope it’s as awesome as you.

Blake

I LOVE this gallery. This mama told me to do what ever I wanted as far as set ups and colors. I decided to go pretty neutral with a touch of blue. This gallery turned out so beautiful and whimsical. Exactly what I have been wanting to accomplish. This was my 12th Newborn session and I'm really enjoying what I have been creating. Congratulations to the Vartanian family. Blake is perfection. It was so hard to narrow your collage down to just 8 images. I saved some of the best ones as a surprise.
